Problem Statement:

Innovation is essential to address the issue of excessive alcohol consumption and its associated problems.

Existing methods like public awareness campaigns and law enforcement can only go so far in mitigating the problem. An innovative system to detect and de-escalate individuals under the influence can provide a proactive and tailored solution.

It can offer timely intervention, potentially preventing violent incidents, while reducing the overall societal and personal costs associated with alcohol-related issues.

About the Innovation:

Our Young inventors developed an AI-powered intelligent system to detect if a person is under the influence of alcohol.

Young inventors from DiscoverSTEM devised an AI-powered intelligent system that detects if an individual is under the influence of alcohol and showing aggressive behavior. If such a behavior is detected, the system administers a pre-prescribed dose of calming medicine, thus preventing any untoward incident and escalation of aggression.
