Problem Statement:

Over 1.6 Billion phone cases are thrown into trash or landfills every year contributing significantly to pollution and landfill waste.

These cases take centuries to decompose and harm ecosystems and wildlife. Their production generates greenhouse gas emissions and involves harmful chemicals. By reducing plastic phone case use, we can curb pollution, conserve resources, minimize health risks, and foster a more sustainable and eco-friendly approach.

About the Innovation:

Our students developed a phone case that is adjustable enough to actually fit on any and every phone in the world..

Young inventors from DiscoverSTEM studied various reasons for such wastage and developed a phone case that is adjustable enough to actually fit on any and every phone in the world! Further, the appearance of this case can be changed as well as customized, further reducing the probability of it being discarded.
